In my last post I let you know how nervous I was about Cash being out if his helmet and about the long car trip we were taking. Well, we took our trip to Tenn to visit my parents. Cash did wonderful in the car. We drove to Memphis and stopped for the night. Cashs went swimming for the first time. He really enjoyed it. The water was a little cool, so we didn't stay in long. We ordered in pizza and settled in for a restful evening. That didn't happen. Cash was up ALL night long. At 5 am I asked my mom if she was awake and we hit the road. We had a great time in Tenn. We stayed for almost 2 weeks. My dad came back with is on the return trip. It wasn't quite as bad a night sleep as the first trip but it wasn't great. I think we were all happy to get back to Texas and have Cash sleep in his own bed.
Here we are walking into the doctors office. I was so nervous about what they would say. Cash had spent a lot of time flat on his head in his car seat.
Cash had pictures taken of all sides of his head again and then he went and had another scan. I was so happy to have another scan. This would prove that he had regressed. I was so surprised to see Ms. Libby!! She laid Cash down and did the quick scan. She said the Mr. Dwain said hello. We asked her to please tell him hi!!
We went back to our room and waited for the doctor to come in. She finally came in and showed me the scan.
The red line was from his final scan on May 13, 2014. The blue line was the scan from that day, June 10, 2014. HE HAD POSTIVIE GROWTH!!! His asymmetry had gone from 4.7mm to 4.4mm!!!! I was so so so surprised!
This is his overall growth. The red line was from his first scan January 13, 2014 and the blue line was his last scan June 10, 2014. I am still just so amazed how much the shape of his head changed. His starting numbers were 9.9 mm asymmetry and 103% Cephalic Ratio (width of his head). And his ending numbers were 4.4 mm and 95.3%.
We go back at the end of this month for another scan and than again in a year. I am very excited to see his numbers in a few weeks.
A lot has been going on with Cash since my last post. Cash started walking, waving, clapping and he had a birthday!! Here are some pictures. I don't have many on my phone because I had to reset it. Anyways. Here's what I have.
